Here are the Oneida County COVID-19 case numbers as of 12 p.m.:
- 16 new positive cases (5 nursing home residents), 1,166 total.
- 2 new positive fatalities (both nursing home-related), 64 total.
- 51 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County.
- 42 MVHS
- 9 Rome Memorial
- 3 are admitted outside of Oneida County.
- 40 hospitalized patients are from nursing homes.
- 33 MVHS
- 7 Rome Memorial
- 355 active positive cases
- 747 positive cases have been resolved.
- 27,222 total tests have been conducted.
- 26,056 total negative results.
- 551 under mandatory quarantine
- 350 under precautionary quarantine
- 11,514 total have been discharged from mandatory and precautionary quarantine.

Announcements
- County Executive Picente will be putting together a Nursing Home Taskforce to determine the best way forward for local facilities in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Oneida County has partnered with the HomeOwnershipCenter to administer $325,000 of Community Block Grant Funding for rental assistance. For more info and to apply, visit: unhs.org.
- Due to decline in demand and usage, the Oneida County COVID-19 informational hotline, and the helpline for daycare, emergency assistance and aging and chronic care, will no longer be available on weekends.
- The Oneida County COVID-19 Mental Health hotline will cease operation as of 6 p.m. on June 19.
- Per the county’s partnership with the American Dairy Association North East, the next public milk and mask giveaway will take place at 11 a.m. on June 11, 2020 at the Griffiss Business & Technology Park in Rome.
