Veterans Discount Program
In New York State, the County Clerk’s Office is the only official repository for the form DD-214 (Military Discharge Paperwork). Filing this form in the County Clerk’s office assures the veteran that their record of service is preserved forever. In return for filing, the veteran will receive a card that provides proof that they have filed their discharge with the County Clerk’s Office. Participating County merchants have agreed to honor the card and provide veterans with discounts on purchases of merchandise and services.

If you would like to sign up or renew your Veterans Discount Card, please complete the following form below. Bring the form to our office and we will check to see if the DD214 is on record. There is a nominal fee of $3.00 for your photo and card processing.
