Oneida County COVID-19 Update for May 2, 2021

Here are the Oneida County COVID-19 case numbers as of midnight on May 1:

• 24 new positive cases, 21,577* total. *(Upon further investigation, 5 positive cases were removed from the previous total.)
• 385 active positive cases.
• 1 new COVID-19-related death, 419 total.
• 9 patients are hospitalized in Oneida County (all at MVHS).
• 4 residents are hospitalized out of county.
• 20,773 positive cases have been resolved.
• Total negative results were not updated by NYS DOH at the time of this release.
• Total tests were not updated by NYS DOH at the time of this release.
• 385 mandatory isolation.
• 505 in mandatory quarantine.
