Overview

The County Attorney prepares all necessary papers and written instruments in connection with representing county officers and employees in relation to their official duties.

The department also prosecutes and defends all civil actions and proceedings for or against the county and prepares resolutions, ordinances, and local laws as requested by the Board of Legislators and the County Executive.
