Civil Actions
The County Clerk maintains the records of all Civil Supreme Court actions commenced in Cortland County. With the exception of sealed and confidential filings, cases from 1992 to present day can be viewed by the public by searching our public records at https://www.searchiqs.com/NYONE/.
If a party is represented by an Attorney, all Supreme Court cases must be electronically filed through NYSCEF.

Criminal Actions
The Court Clerk maintains the records for all Criminal Court cases in Oneida County. Due to the confidential information contained in these cases, these files are not searchable through the public record website. Unless sealed, criminal files can be accessed on a computer terminal in the County Clerk's office.
A search of the criminal files may be requested by submitting the name and time frame the records need to be searched for. It may take up to 24 hours for the request to be processed. There is a search fee for each file searched. There is an additional fee for copies requested if the search produces a hit.
