Tuberculosis
Tuberculosis is a disease caused by bacteria. You usually get the bacteria in your lungs. The disease spreads when someone who is sick coughs or sneezes around you for a long time. If you have TB, you might have a fever, night sweats, weight loss, and a cough that does not go away. There is medicine to treat TB disease.
Our Services
- Follow up with individuals experiencing TB symptoms.
- Provide treatment for patients with active tuberculosis (TB) or latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI).
- Mantoux (TB Skin Test) for evaluation of TB disease and individuals who have been in contact with a case of tuberculosis.
- Skin tests for work or school are available through our immunization clinics.
