Overview

Our department is pleased to help those on their paths to naturalization and citizenship. As a courtesy, our office has USCIS application forms and can help guide you toward the most useful resources for USCIS cases status updates and more.

Additionally, our office holds the original declaration of intent and naturalization for Oneida Co. and some of Herkimer Co. Our documents date back to the early 1800s, and a large percent of these records have information regarding dates of arrival and place of residence upon arrival. Some records have original photos of immigrants and dates and names of family members that have migrated to the United States. There is a minimal fee for record copies.
