Global IT Outage Impacting Some Oneida County Services
The global IT infrastructure outage that struck early this morning is affecting some Oneida County services for the public.
The following county departments are impacted at this time:
- Department of Motor Vehicles is closed indefinitely.
- County Clerk Office is closed indefinitely.
- Department of Family and Community Services is operational and offering services. It is however being impacted through lack of access to New York State computer systems, and is utilizing paper documentation.
***The County’s 911 System has not been affected by the outage, nor has the response to the Rome tornado.***
