Park Avenue Entrance to the Oneida County Office Building Reopens March 1
County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. announced today that the Park Avenue entrance to the Oneida County Office Building in Utica will reopen on March 1.
The reconstructed access point will again serve as the only public entrance to the facility.
The Park Avenue entrance was closed on May 22, 2023 as renovations began to improve access and safety. Public access was diverted to the Charlotte Street entrance of the building during that time. The Charlotte Street entry point will no longer be available to the public as of March 1.
The new Park Avenue entrance has increased security screening capabilities and features a large heated and cooled entryway to protect visitors from the elements.
All previously obstructed outer pathways to the County Office Building will be reopened as of March 1 as well.
